Mustard'n'Purple

 I knitted something for myself for a change. 😂

Really easy to knit but in my view there was a mistake in the pattern. The pattern came with 2 neck versions, boat neck and stand up neck. Meaning the back and front pieces raglan was longer for the stand up neck, but the pattern asked to knit identical sleeves for both versions. Which I did at first and sewing it all together I realized something was utterly wrong. I compared the rows and the sleeves were about 8 rows shorter compared to the front and back. So I read through the pattern again, hoping I may have missed something. But I hadn't. I undid the cast off on both sleeves and added the 8 rows that were missing, carrying on with the raglan decrease. After assembling all the pieces I added a simple 1x1 rib around the neck, the same length as the cuffs. Finished!

Across the Pond Cowl

 The lovely ladies from "Always Knitting and Sewing" showed during their podcast this cowl made from Stylecraft Dream Catcher and Stylecraft Highland Heathers yarn.

It just loved it. I have already two colours of Dream Catcher yarn leftover so I just needed the two contrast colours.

Quarantine Sweater

 I finished the sweater for hubby within the 10 days of quarantine. I think I took way too much yarn with me. Doesn't matter. The plane will carry it back home again. 😂

I didn't knit as much as I would if we were at home anyway. No comfy chair. Besides it's DK yarn so that's slower anyway.

Nordic Hat's Galore

So, actually the first 2 hats were supposed to be 2 more xmas presents for hubby. But he walked into the livingroom and asked, are you making a hat for me? 😍

Fair Isle Yoke Pullover

The yarn I used is Stylecraft Special Aran

Cable Cardigan

Bought this as yarn/pattern pack from Deramores.

They are still 2-4 days slower in handling orders than other suppliers.

Anyway, the pattern stated 2 400g balls. I made the size 44/46 and ran out of yarn half way up the second sleeve. Sadly, Deramores gives a crap if you urgently need another ball of the same dye lot.

I then got in touch with Stylecraft/Spectrum Yarns who did not have any of the dye lot either but they sent me a sample so I could check if the dye lot they had would match. And it did and then sent me a ball free of charge. I believe it was their mistake in the first place. Because my knitting tension was spot on and I measure exactly what the pattern requires. So it can't have been me using too much yarn. Besides I didn't knit the largest size which also only required 2 balls.

So I finally finished it a week ago.

Once I caught up with all the other blankets I'll make another.

I have so much leftover yarn and this one is perfect for it.
