Moving shops

Posted by Crazy Knitter22 at 5:11 pm 0 comments

After I received some unsettling news regarding eBay about their latest seller punishment I have decided to get rid of eBay and use just eBid and Etsy.

Yes, Etsy also deposits your earnings directly into your bank account but they only do that once a month. Which mean that you have currency available if you want t buy something or if you list items.

eBay on the other hand want to deposit your earnings after 2-3 working days after being paid. That is ridiculous. Besides we all know that we can get the odd scammer who will claim they didn't receive their order and eBay quickly will take your money before you can even give evidence of the contrary. I will not allow eBay to have access to my bank account. I never gave PayPal access to my bank account either.

So the majority of my patterns will move to eBid and I will open a second Etsy store for all the crafty and handmade stuff.

I have already started moving listings to eBid and I hope I will have it done by the end of the month.

The eBid store is live but on holiday settings because of the current covid-19 crisis.

I hope to see you at my new shops

Another Japanese Book

I had to wait very patiently for this one. It should have been released in Oct. 2019. It got delayed. And then it got even more delayed thanks to Covid-19.

But then yesterday I had the notification from Amazon that it is shipped. I nearly fell off my chair. And today I finally can admire it.

It's over 300 pages of beautiful knitting and crochet patterns. I just quickly glanced through it and I am already on love with it.

A perfect surprise for xmas. 🎄🎅💝😁

History of Trees Shawl

After all the Advents offers by Deramores I ended up buying the crochet kit for the History of Trees shawl.

I worked with this yarn before but never finished the Hygge Shawls. I found Scheepjes Stone Washed too heavy to be comfortable. It probably would have ended to become a table runners and not stoles. So I sold the lot a few years ago.

I was a bit apprehensive about using the same yarn again because it's rather a heavy yarn. But this shawl uses a lot of treble stitches so I thought why not.

Across the Pond Cowl

The lovely ladies from "Always Knitting and Sewing" showed during their podcast this cowl made from Stylecraft Dream Catcher and Stylecraft Highland Heathers yarn.

It just loved it. I have already two colours of Dream Catcher yarn leftover so I just needed the two contrast colours.
