Baby Hats and Bootees

I had a request for some hats for a baby boy. The white yarn was supplied to me and i used some leftover blue yarn.

Knitted after vintage knitting patterns.

I did size 4 and for some reason 15 balls as suggested wasn't enough.

If you want to knit the same jumper buy 1 more ball than recommended to make sure you have enough.

Lopi Cardigan

Cardigan for Steve made from Lettlopi yarn.

The pattern is in Lopi 28, Design 12 Hlekkur

I have to warn that i ran out of white, for the last 3 rounds. I had to replace it with a different colour of which i had plenty left over.

It's lovely to knit though. Be aware the yarn is 100% icelandic wool and tends to be a little itchy.

The patterns work fine with other aran weight yarns.
