Dream Catcher 2

 My second Dream Catcher Sweater.

Pattern: Stylecraft 9597

Yarn: Stylecraft Dream Catcher Arapaho 3955

It's just such a lovely soft yarn 💗

Mosaic Jumper

Honestly, I have surprised myself by finishing it. After the back piece I was so frustrated because I was more going backwards than forwards. And the same happened with the front too. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that the sleeves were plain.

This is the first, last and only time I will knit a mosaic pattern.

The pattern is:

I think I started it before we went on holidays.

It's made of Hayfield Illusion DK (it is a discontinued yarn as far as I know. Small amounts are still available in some stores. Lovecrafts still have some of the shades.)

Pattern # 7933 Hayfield.

It knits well for an acrylic yarn.

Fairisle Yoke

Aaaaand finished.

Just needs a bit of pressing but it's too hot to do that atm.

Safari Shine

Before I could finish the Dapple Sweater I had a request on eBay.

Someone who wanted to buy one of my sweaters missed out.

And she asked me if I could make her one.

Usually, I don't do commissions because I hate knitting/crocheting the same patterns twice.

But because it meant some money and the original I had knitted a few years ago I agreed.

I can confirm that my customer is over the moon with her new sweater.

This was the original. But unfortunately this shade was discontinued.

She told me to pick something similar. I found a shade that came close and by the looks of it, it was also on the verge of being discontinued. 

So this is her sweater.

Personally I like this one even better.

King Cole Shine Shade 3085 Safari

Just so everyone knows NO MORE COMMISSIONS.

Midnight Blue

That was a quick one.

No idea why they called it a tunic. It's just a sweater that is a bit longer.

Made from Sirdar Dapple Shade 80 Midnight Blues

75% Acrylic, 25% Wool

Pattern: Sirdar 8066

Seriously, if you can get Sirdar Dapple buy some. It knits just beautifully and it's very soft.

Colourful Sweater

Finally, after 1 year of lying around in a basket I finished this one.

That's what set in sleeves do to me 😂

I so prefer Raglan Sleeves.

W.I.P. Stylecraft Sweater

When I first saw this yarn I had to grab it. And the pattern was very nice too

Since then I have bought more yarn for another sweater.

It is really soft and light, perfect for when it gets a bit warmer. The colours are beautifully bright.

It knits really well but I do recommend steel needles like Knitpro Nova Metal.

The yarn is loosely spun with only 1 ply but it won't split and you can pull as much as you like.

I might even get a third colour. 😉

Dennis the Menace Jumper

So hubby was asking me if I could make him a Dennis the Menace jumper.

I said of course. So I ordered some Stylecraft Aran with Wool and converted the pattern for the Nordic Jumper into a top-down pattern.

That was easier than I expected.

I wasn't able to take pictures of the finished one yet because hubby nicked it hot off the needle 😄
