I am versus Arthritis Challenge

 In March I will start will my "I am versus Arthritis" Challenge.

I have never tried Brioche knitting. So this is my challenge. I found a "simple" scarf pattern. I hope I will get it. But my guess is there will be some swearing included. 😆

 Sorry for being so lazy posting.

I am really busy with knitting/crochet and getting my 3d stuff set up again.

There is one reason why I hardly posted. The weather had been so gloomy which didn't help my mood and it doesn't make good pictures. Then as well I started to struggle with the new inhaler I got 2 months ago. I felt so terribly breathless and tired. I am now back to the old one and I feel much better.

So here is proof how busy I was. 😂

Very unlike me I crocheted the same shawl/scarf 6 times. 😱

All different colours. I hope I will have them for sale on eBay by the end of April.

Atm I am making glitzy stuff.

I have another 2 bags full of handknitted stuff I need to take pictures and put up for sale. I hope I will be able to do that next month. I have my fingers crossed my back will finally hurt a bit less than it does now.

I would go outside to take pictures but I don't have a garden. And being an Aspie I feel very uncomfortable standing outside taking pictures and then maybe even get reported because some idiot thinks I am working. As if that's work. I usually only manage about 30 minutes standing. Any more and I am in agony. 😩

Chinchilla Set

A hat and scarf I made for my MIL.

I have seen people complaining about this yarn. That it was a pain to knit with.

I don't really like knitting chunky and super chunky yarn but this was pretty easy to knit. 

And it's soooo fluffy!

W.I.P. Large Lace Shawl

At the moment i am working on a lace shawl made from yarn made in Bulgaria.

I have to say it's coloured beautifully and it is very light and soft.

I always buy it from a seller on eBay. She's a very nice lady and if you need different shades or packages sizes you can always ask her.

Anyway i have knitted about 60% and i am going to wind the 2nd skein now before i carry on knitting

Rowan Kidsilk Scarf

I managed to find some Rowan Kidsilk Creation yarn for a bargain.

I made this one using the crochet version. I think i prefer it compared to the knitted version.

I have some more colours of the same yarn.

Purple (this will be mine)

Grey, whitish, red and black i think.

It's very fluffy and soft.

Light Spring Scarf

Some light lace knitting scarf made of two yarns knitted together. Another scarf which will be sold through Etsy soon. 

I really have to make up all my finished projects soon otherwise i'll end up with piles of knitted products but not one of them ready for the store.

Galaxy Scarf and Slouch Hat

And here's my own Galaxy scarf and slouch hat. Don't ask for them i wear these ;O)

But i might order some more Galaxy yarn and knit a few hats to see if they will sell. It'll probably be something similar as shown here but my own design.

Long Glitter Stole

I had some more Aria yarn left over which i turned into this 2m long stole or scarf or whatever you want to call it. It just needs the finishing touches and then it'll be sold through my Etsy store.

James C Brett's Aria yarn feels so different from the similar looking King Cole's Galaxy.

It's a bit more stiff and works quite well with projects like this.

Corkscrew Scarf

I've made this one a while back already. If i get the proper photos done soon you'll find it in my Etsy store.

It's made of a chunky wool alpaca mix yarn.

Glamorous Scarf

I asked my Mum what colour scarf she wanted and she told me she hasn't got one that would go with any colour.
Now i don't do just plain. This yarn with sequins called Aria by James C Brett was ideal for a scarf which will match with anything.

I just need to wrap it up and send it off.

I have already spotted a pattern i am tempted with.
