New Interchangeable Needles

Posted by Crazy Knitter22 at 10:34 pm 0 comments

I treated myself with a new set of interchangeable Knitting Needles.

Seeknit Shirotake M2 Starter Set

After testing them for over a months I have to say I am very impressed with the quality all round but especially with the connectors. Nothing is catching and it happened maybe once they came undone and that is because the wire is not fixed. The bamboo is extremely smooth. Worth every penny.

Hiya Hiya Sock Set

Posted by Crazy Knitter22 at 3:49 pm 0 comments
So as the result of torturing my index finger knitting the hat I went and bought a Hiya Hiya Sock Set.
This was the only interchangeable set I could find that went as a low as 2mm.
It's an investment because £54 isn't cheap. But you know I am a passionate sock knitter. 😉

Well, I hope my index finger will be safe now. 😄

I bought some more cables to go with the 2.75mm and 3mm needles

New Needles

Posted by Crazy Knitter22 at 9:33 pm 0 comments
So, I finally bought myself 2 sizes of those new Prym Ergonomics.
I have to say I am very happy with them. They were perfect knitting those mittens from the earlier post.
I am a continental knitter but when I knit fairisle patterns in two colours I always knit continental and English. Which means I have to let go of the right needle. Usually, the metal needles, when they don't hold many stitches, they will slide out.
These stay put.
I was so impressed with them I have ordered a 3mm set.

And I made myself an xmas pressy and bought a set of KnitPro Zing.
